WIll this work properly?...

I have a Pod XT and A Pod 2.0 and I want to use them simultaneously.

I have an Atomic Reactor, which is mono only, but I came up with a solution that I think should be OK.

Guitar -> Akai Headrush (set to short delay and splitting wet/dry) -> One output to XT, one to 2.0 -> All Pod outs to Behringer mini mixer -> Mini mixer to Atomic input.

As far as I know (that's not alot!) this should work, but if anyone knows of a reason that it wouldn't, please advise!

Also, would I be able to get one of the pods to control the other via midi, like patch changes and possibly singe fx on/off?

Yeah, I wanted another Atomic (or maybe 3, lol), but can't afford it, this was the cheaper option...

I'd use something besides a delay pedal to split your signal into stereo because its going to sound rather weird having a delay first in your chain before the POD's.

Why not sell both the POD's and buy the new V3 version that lets you run two amps at once ? Would be much simplier to control.

Yeah, maybe the x3 would be an option, could cost me though.

The delay was only going to be a very short delay, for the stereo spread.

I might re-think my approach.

Would this work: What about an A/B/Y, set on the Y. to the pods? Then your guitar tone wouldn't be affected at all until it got to the pods.

Re: WIll this work properly?...

A basic ABY risks loading your pickups (losing volume and treble) and ground loops between the two units it's connected to. You'd really want something buffered and either properly isolated or with some sort of ground loop defeat on its outputs.
