Need some help for a new pickup SD invader for my fender strat player hss.
1 volume, 2 tones and a fender super 5 way switch.
the problem is the super 5 way switch.
there are diagrams for a normal 5 way switch
Even seymon duncan can’t give this.
But they are looking for a solution.
Maybe some of you members has the solution

Welcome to the forum!

What does the super 5 way do in that guitar? Is it wired like a regular strat switch, or does it do something different? Also, remember, Fender and SD's pickups are out of phase, so you will have to reverse the hot and ground on the SD pickup if the the other pickups are Fenders.

What it realy do,I dont no, but each side Has 2 times 5 pins(20 pins) in place of each side 1 time 5 (10 pins ) So the think the possebillities to connect the picks are much more and for some more interesting. What I saw at a normal 5 switch is that the 3 picks the hots wires are connected at 1 side. But here fender has connect the humbucker at 1 side and the 2 single coils hot wire on the other side. Of course you see some wires going from one side to the other. There are no special push up knobs for splittings and so on.
your remark on the phase is interesting and could be the solution of my rummble noise when I suddenly stop playing. I WIRED my sd the same way my fender humbucker. The 2 singles are indeed 2 fenders

When you stop playing and the singles are on, it might just be single coil hum. But gently tap on the poles of the pickups with a screwdriver while it is plugged in, to hear the thump through the amp as you switch through all of the switch positions. It will tell you if the switch is cutting the coil of the humbucker in one of the positions.
