Wiring Anomaly

This is the current wiring setup in the Samick Artist taken at two different angles.

For some reason, the pots are in the following configuration (as seen from the front of the guitar)

Neck Volume / Bridge Tone
Bridge Volume / Neck Tone

Can anybody see in either photo above why this might be the case? Or at least take a guess as to why?

Re: Wiring Anomaly

If the red wire is from the neck pup and the blue wire from the bridge pup:

From what I can see in the photos (but all of the connections aren't very clear), the top front pot is the neck volume. It has a wire going to the top back pot which is its tone.
The bottom front pot is the bridge vol pot with a wire going to its tone pot (the bottom rear pot).
There are no other connections between the tone pots (other than grounds) that could cause what you describe.

This wiring is as it should be. You can't get what you described from this wiring. There would have to be a wire going from the upper left vol pot to the lower right tone pot, and a wire going from the lower left vol pot to the upper right tone pot. And those wires don't exist.

Could it be your imagination?
