Wiring Conundrum

I currently have this wiring set up in my guitar:

I've found if I do the ground from the bridge pup(like in the diagram) my bridge vol becomes reversed(10=no signal from any pups, 0=signal from neck and mid, but no bridge). If i don't ground, i get a good signal from bridge pup, but volume only cuts to about 1/2 at 0. Am i connecting to ground too early in the chain by having the South Start wire grounded before it hits the pot?

More than likely, what you've done is reversed the ground on one of the pots. In that diagram, all the pots face the same way, but in your guitar, you probably have the terminals facing each other. That makes it real easy to get one reversed. Look at the bridge volume control. If you rotated it around 180 deg's, the ground would be on the left instead of right.

Just look over your wiring very carefully, and make sure it matches that diagram. Check the wires on the bridge volume first.

Is this with all the switches in? That looks like it should work
fine. But I still think that no good can come from having the
middle pickup cause a short between hot and ground when
both coil cutters are on.

Found the problem, a bad solder. Everything grounded and working A+++. Thanks for the support, guys.
