Wiring help please!

Im attempting a 2h 2v no tone or switch. I wired (2) 1h 1v and paralleled them at jack. Oops lol wound up with 2 master vols. Any way to isolate each? What I want is 2 independant vols to simply apply as desired. New to electronics but in mechanical world a check valve would do. Any electronic "check valves" ou t there? Any help apprecieated. If I'm picking up what you're putting down, you want bass guitar style pickup volumes. Here's a diagram for a Jazz Bass which has that type of control scheme (ignore the tone control) http://www.guitar-mod.com/wiring/jbass.gif

Aha! I think/hope i see it! I grounded both pups to one pot...will fix in morning and come back. If works i will post a diagram for anybody else that may be curious. Thanks for response as i do see a difference! See all in the am!

Doesn't matter if both pups are grounded to one pot as long as the pots are grounded to each other. Electrically it's the same.
