Wiring Help

I'm having a little trouble finding a diagram to wire my Les Paul Jr. to.

I'd like it to have a 3-way toggle in the normal place where it is on a regular Les Paul that in the neck position does the top coil of the bucker, middle position is both coils and last position is the bridge coil along with volume and tone pots.

Re: Wiring Help

Thats pretty simple. Give me a sec to find the pic in my archive . . .

Ok, use an on-off-on switch like this:

Edit: Obviously, if you can find one with a full-sized handle, it'll fit the hole better.

ArtieToo: Your pic shows "out to a 5 way selector", .........isn't this another switch.

I was wondering how this could be done, as I think that Devil Tiger wants to ONLY have a 3 way toggle switch to accomplish all of the splitting.

Maybe I'm wrong.

Re: Wiring Help

This pic was from my "archive". It was made for something else, but the concept is the same. Think of "out to 5-way" as simply "out". Connect it to where ever you'ld connect the hot wire. In this case, it will probably be to the volume/tone controls. ;)

last position is the bridge coil along with volume and tone pots.

I would question if this last statement implies that the previous two positions do not have volume and tone pots.

Sorry... with old age comes a lot of skepticism - but I know you know that!!

Yeah . . . I was wondering about that too. Then I decided it was just semantics. If he needs something more, we can always cover that also. ;)
