Wiring help!

Hey guys, looking for some strat wiring help. Its a jazzmaster pick guard, with 3 single coils. Now I'm trying to get the wiring sorted.

Originally I wanted 3 push-push pots all wired for volume so I could have any pup combination, but that isn't working. All the volumes are wired to the same input jack with one off, they all turn off. Is there a way around it?

I've seen the Armstrong superstrat wiring http://www.ashbass.com/AshBassGuitar/index.html?armstrongstrat.html

Would that work with push/push pots? Or what about having jazzmaster "slider switches" like these?

I want to keep the switching as low profile as possible.

Re: Wiring help!

How is your guitar currently wired? Pics or a schematic diagram would help.

Simple on/off switching requires a bypass connection on each switch. (This is how Fender Jaguar pickup switches operate. Some early Schecters and many Charvels worked this way, too.)

IMO, the Armstrong Superstrat wiring is brilliant for recording musicians. Onstage, in poor lighting, it would be a complete mind****.

To have 3 pickups with it's own volume pot and no switch, you need to wire those as independent volumes.

Read about it here: http://hermeticoguitar.blogspot.com.es/2012/08/wiring-diy-part-08.html
