Hello,

I dont do this very often, I am replacing a humbucker in a HSS Tele that has a 2 way mini-toggle for a coil split.

The pickup is an SD Invader and I think the correct wiring but am not sure. Please excuse my poor drawing skills.

Thanks in advance Ray

Actually, your 1st diagram is correct if you put the green/bare to ground, and then connect the red/white to where you have the green/bare on the switch.

Oops. There's more. Connect the black wire to where your red line goes to the switch. Neither the black or your red line need to be connected to the switch. The bottom lug, below the red/white, should go to ground.

Makes perfect sense as the black to the 5 position switch will always be hot.. Lesson learned!

Would have been easier than wiring that little black jumper too! But... I already wired it up per the 2nd diagram.

The guitar is working great, Lots of available sounds.

Thanks for the input...
