Wiring question - 2 pickups 2 vol 1 tone

Hello! I'm new to this forum and am hoping someone might be able to help with some wiring advice? I've been scouring through the posts but haven't found this particular set up.
I've got what I believe is a Teisco Arbiter which is in a bit of a state so I'm trying to get it into some kind of working order.

It has 2 single coil pickups, with 2 two position slide switches, 2 volume pots and 1 tone pot.

My assumption is that the switches are simple on/off switches for the pickups?

Here's how it looks inside:

I've seen this diagram:
B3-DE776-B-40-CE-4271-82-D0-1-C3-EC16-C699-E.gif
which is for a Teisco, but it's only got 1 volume pot, whereas I have 2. I'm also not sure about the wiring for the switches as the diagram shows 3 dots but the switches have 3 rows of 3 connecters for wires.

Would really appreciate any advice on the best way to re-wire this up?

Thanks in advance!

Hi ehdwuld

Thanks for your reply.

I've attached a couple of pics of the switches.

Thanks again!

ok I see whats going on with the switches now

do you have a digital multi meter ?

what it looks like is
you can turn either the neck or bridge on individually
or if both are selected it make them hum canceling

I would wire them as the diagram shows

use the meter at the output jack to check your work

Individual volumes would go between the pickups and the switch(es), a master volume would be between the switch(es) and the output jack. So you'll have to modify the diagram accordingly.

Almost looks like it might put the pickups in series to me in the drawing, but I might not be looking at it closely enough. My understanding is Teisco just copied Fender for the most part, so either it would be like a Mustang or one of those types of wirings.

Yep I see series in the “both on” position as well. How does that work out, having two volumes for two pickups in series? It would probably let you get some interesting shades of tones.
