Wiring question about humbuckers

Lets assume we have a humbucker with absolutely identical coils(i.e. same wind, wire, resistance and let's say both have slugs).Bridge coil is south, neck coil is bridge.Would there be a difference in sound if we wire the pickup from north coil to south coil and vice versa keeping the wiring polarity as is?Of course I am talking about wiring them in series.

Shouldn't make any difference. The signal is AC. So, for any given cycle, one coil is first, then the other.

Thanks Artie I kind of had that knowledge gap for many years now.I wondered if the signal produced, since different for each half of the humbucker, because of different physical placement of slug relative to the string and one slag feeding last half resistance wire and one full coils in series and total resistance might add up differently in each case.
