hey im wiring up one of my new project guitars. this is my first H/S/H guitar and i wanted positions 2/4 to be hum canceling. the problem is that my single coil is already a humbucker ( i believe its a DiMarzio HS3 )

thats the wiring diagram im using but the problem is that my single coil also has 4 conductor wiring so i know where to stick the hot wire im just not sure what i need to do with the black and white wires ( the green and bare wires are going to ground ) do these just get soldered together and taped off ?
