wiring question

I'm about to exchange the pickups in my LP classic for PGn and Customb. Since I'm now using 4 conductor wiring my question is should I twist the the green ground wire to the bare ground wire and solder to the same area on the volume pot? The stock set up, as most of you know, was the shielding of the wire from each pickup was soldered to each individual volume pot. There are now 4 grounds, two from each pickup, what is the best way to handle this?

I do that all the time. I actually soldered the green and bare wire together and just ran the bare all the way to ground. All wires going to ground can be joined together and then soldered on the vol pot.
