Woody acoustic pickup cable

I bought the Woody pickup and the cable is a little in the way of my right hand. Has anyone tried running the cable out the end where strap button is? There would need to be a new type of strap button made just for this....just checking.

I don't know if the woody works with this, but there are specially designed jacks that replace you bottom strap button. Worse case scenario you could do a DIY fix with a soldering iron and some wire cutters.

Just use some tape.

I believe at some point I cut the jack off of a Woody and wired it to an endpin jack. It is a little bit of a pain, but it can be done.
