Would a Custom/Jazz set be good for a PRS McCarty

Hey guys,
I have a PRS McCarty that I'll be trying some Duncans in. The guitar is fairly dark sounding naturally. I've decided to try the Custom/Jazz set first. I play modern Hard rock and was thinking the Custom might be good for this and brighten up the guitar a bit. What are your thoughts on the Custom in a PRS?

I like the C-5, Custom, CC, and 59B in a McCarty. I've got my LP's and strats set up with vintage spec pickups, so I wanted my McCartys to be my 'heavy' guitars.

I'd also recommend using a Jazz bridge as a neck pickup, since it's still low DC resistance, but a little beefier sounding than the Jazz N. Because of that, the split neck will be a tiny bit stronger too. PG n in 4 lead is also a good choice for PRS. Those 2 are good matches for Customs in a PRS.
