Would Love a Production Mini-Humbucker.....

But not the Firebird type. Would love a regular production Gibson LP Deluxe/Epiphone style pickup and not have to buy an Antiquity. With they made one......

Not enough demand? Problem is most modern production aren't constructed like the originals, so Duncan Antiquity is one of the few (or the only?) model that is actually a correct Gibson mini-humbucker.

I will say that the Antiquity is absolutely worth the price. You can also order it without the aged look, too.

I might look into that. I know DiMarzio makes one too. It's basically because of Paul Gilbert. GFS makes one too and it's a decent pickup. I used to own a 69RI Gibson Les Paul Deluxe. The cheap GFS sounds fine compared.

That being said, if I bought a Gibson Deluxe, I would definitely replace the pickups, and I would not want something similar. A mini JB, Black Winter, or WLH would be great. The main reason I do not own an LP Deluxe is the limited pickup options though a deluxe was the first LP I gigged with.

A lot of players who have/had LP Deluxes replaced the mini-humbuckers with P90s.
