Would this be a Custom Shop pup?

Re: Would this be a Custom Shop pup?

Just ask for an Invader wound to Custom specs...no need for trembucker spacing with those huge pole pieces.

Yeah, this is a custom shop order. $150 is probably a good estimate, unless it were to involve some type of major design change. I'm not familiar with the Invader, so I'm not sure if you could fit three magnets into a Custom.

I think I may call to confirm that it would be a custom shop deal, because the mods in question are really easy. I was only asking because it's always easier if I don't have to do it, plus if it wasn't any more expensive... :)

They may be easy, but they're still custom shop options. The "floor shop customs" are for things like different colored bobbins, different types of screws, no logo, etc. Anything involving a different magnet is a custom shop option.

Custom trembucker, with the 3 ceramic mags from an Invader, plus the Invader's oxide caps.

Try to find a used/broken Invader and send it to the Custom Shop to get it rewound to Custom specs. It'll only be $70 for a rewind.
