Would this suck?

I just had APII's put in the neck/bridge on my Ibanez RG1570L and was going to get one for the mid too...

The improvement over the stock pickups was great, but I'm thinking maybe it would be better to have different pickup in the bridge/mid so I can vary my sound more.

I've been reading all the pickup threads and the Custom Custom seems like a good choice for the bridge and I quite like the sound of the cool rails for the mid.

Given the choice which would you guys choose?

Id actually put the cool rails in the neck and the ap2 in the middle, but thats just me

Of the above, id say the cool rails mid and CC bridge.

I have voted AP allaround because i don't specialy like the high output pickups. And also think that it is better to have the guitar a related sound in all positions.

Of the above, id say the cool rails mid and CC bridge.

the guitars routed H S H so the middle would need to be re routed and a new scratch plate would be needed

as for the pickups, i dont have experience with either so i aint gonna vote - sorry for not being of any help :smack:

Go CC/CR/A2P (bridge/mid/neck). Balanced bridge, middle and neck!
