Wrap around bridge problem

My prs se one has a wrap around bridge. I changed strings the other day and noticed that the bridge was angled down rather than being flat

I do not know if this is normal, or Is it fixable?
Thanks

Re: Wrap around bridge problem

I don’t have a PRS wraparound to compare (others do, hopefully) but my Jackson Surfcaster’s wraparound does similar.

Just from looking, I would suggest dropping the pickup height a little, the bridge Pup looks very close to the strings, and if the neck Pup is at similar distance, they may be deadening the strings.

Not that a big of a problem, but it really bothers you then some Tone Pros locking studs or spacers will correct that.

Re: Wrap around bridge problem

That's pretty normal. My PRS SE Singlecut used to do that too with the stock wraparound bridge.

Lot of them do it; I do like Tonepros.
I have the Tonepros in my SE Nick Catanese. It's an improvement, but the bridge still tilts because the posts don't screw snug onto the bushings.

It's also a big pain in the ass to adjust the action because you have to loosen the strings and unlock the posts to be able to adjust the height.

It's supposedly made of good metal (zinc for the body, brass for the studs and saddles, I think), so it sounds nice. I'm not in a hurry to replace it, but if someone were buying a new bridge, I wouldn't recommend the Tonepros, personally.

Is that a stock bridge/stud setup?. Looks like it needs the vintage type studs that have less distance between the flanges, so the bridge fits tightly in the studs.
