WTB: a longshot (MIJ tele parts or Bareknuckle piledriver)

Almost Never

New member
I just got a MIJ esquire someone turned into a tele and replaced the pickups on. Looking to take it back to stock.

I am looking for:

- Fender 3-barrel bridge
- Fender MIJ esquire/telecaster bridge pickup (preferably from TL52 series)

A Bareknuckle Piledriver for tele will also suffice until I find a bridge pickup like the original.

Thanks.

I might be able to help you out with parts of your request.

I own a 1986 MIJ 62 Esquire Custom, and I replaced the bridge saddles and the pickup (I installed a Duncan 54 in the bridge and added a Fender OV 52rhythm pickup in a replacement pickguard -- BB King signed the original pickguard). I have the original flatpole pickup, which measures 6.05 K. I also have the threaded (60s) saddles -- those would work with a $12 bridge plate from MF (I am keeping the bridge plate with stamped S/N), but if you have a 50s Esquire, just buy a US 52 vintage reissue bridge. Anyway, I don't need the original pickup and saddles -- you can pm me with an offer if you'd like to purchase them. I don't have a paypal account, and use USPS money orders for Internet purchases and sales. I've been on this board for a while and also on tdpri, The Gear Page and the Weber Bulletin Board, all as "jkats." Thanks.

Jim
