WTB CHEAP 12" combo (dead) or cab

SO I would like to get a CHEAP 12" combo, prefer dead amp and speaker.
I am going to build a finger jointed etc etc birch ply cab, but the person with the high level of building skill (my father in law) just had shoulder surgery. So I would like to just get something cheap to run for now until I can build exactly what I want.

Why not check a pawn shop or see if lowes can cut you some particle board, then shoot some nails at home?
