WTB: Duncan '78

Re: WTB: Duncan '78

Just order one from the CS. As good as they are, and they are GOOD... there is no way you'll find one much less than the going rate. I would say take a dive and take a chance, but if you're looking for it as is, there is really no dive or chance to take. It's worth every penny. Plus I don't understand why people complain about CS prices, they're very fair and competitive considering the quality and experience put into them.

Enjoy it.

Re: WTB: Duncan '78

I have a older one that i am not crazy about i actuallyprefer the CC a lot more
I sent you a PM abvout the EVH

Re: WTB: Duncan '78

Really? I PM'd you few weeks ago about it too.
yes but at that time i was not really sure i wanted to part with it
EVHhindenberg has had dibs on it for over a month,
I promised him i would give him first shot at buying it
but if he does not still need it i will let you know and you can have it for the $75
funny thing is that i have found a few other pups that i like much more for the early EVH tone with my plexi
the ibanez super 70 is much more 1st VH record toned as is the paf pro
trust me i have tried many pups for the early EVH tone and the best yet is those two.
eddies paf had a almost P-90 tone, very glassy and clear with more mids than the 59 or EVH(78) get.
that elusive midrange is in he super 70 and paf pro's.
and of course the plexi is a big help:naughty:
the CC is also great and has the tone but does not have the purcussive, clean attack that i need, but the CC is my all time favorite higher output pup
much nicer than the tone zone, air zone and such that are supposed to be good EVH tone pups

Re: WTB: Duncan '78

Not a problem, I've already grabbed a few other pups to try anyhow. I just never got a response from you. Its all good :)
