This is kinda a two-part ad, as I am looking for a few things and I have something I can sell or trade for one of the things I'm looking for...
What I am looking to buy:
*EMG HZ-7 passive pickup set, WITH wires
*Seymour Duncan Blackouts Modular Preamp, short shaft one
Yes I know, it's odd for someone to actually want these EMG HZ passive pickups, which are usually okay at best on thier own. But this is also why I am looking for the short shaft Blackouts Modular Preamp to use with them. Pickups MUST come with the wires, and have plenty of length left to them. BMP can be by itself, no pots, battery connector or stereo jack needed. Like it says above though, it MUST be the short shaft version.
What I have for sale/trade:
*EMG 707 pickup set.
This is a fairly new set, and they just came out of a guitar that got a set of Blackouts in their place. Pickups can be sold as the set alone, or can be sold as a complete set WITH full wiring kit for an additional price. Wiring kit will include: 2 pickup cables, 4 short shaft pots (2 for volume and 2 for tone), 2 capacitors for tone pots, spare wire, battery clip, stereo jack.
What I would trade these for is a set of Seymour Duncan Distortion 7 bridge & neck humbuckers. Distortion 7 set MUST have plenty of wire length to them, and NOT be direct mounted - meaning installed in an Ibanez or similar where they mount directly to the body. I need them to be formerly pickup ring mounted, as they will be going into a pickguard (for an ESP LTD AW-7...), and they will be using normal pickup screws to install them. Direct (body) mounted widens the mounting holes, and makes them unable to use the normal pickup ring/pickguard screws, making them useless. Must also be in as close to perfect condition as possible - no cracked bobbins, rusted pole pieces, bent/modified mounting legs, ect. and have the logos on them. (Yes, I know I'm picky. But then again, who isn't when it comes to what we want for gear???) So if they'd be coming out of your Ibanez, I'm not interested.
Pictures of the EMG's if required. I'm willing to pay $100 for the EMG HZ-7 set with wires shipped and $30 for the BMP shipped. I'm asking $100 for the EMG 707 set by themselves, or $130 for the set with the wiring kit.
If your interested in the 707 set, or have the HZ-7 set or a short shaft BMP that you want to get rid of, send me a PM here. I can give you a reference to prove that I am 100% legit to dealing online, and will give you my email address to continue the transaction.
Thanks for looking!!!
