I need one more EVM12L classic (16ohm) speaker to complete my other 4X12 cabinet setup.
I would prefer the ones without the EV logo printed on the dust cover of the speaker.
If anyone one has one in mint condition please let me know your price and some pics please.
Thanks.

I have one that is new.
But look where I live.
Even if I went 100 dollars plus shipping, it will be expensive to properly ship the speaker.
How much is a new 16 Ohm Classic.?
Thanks

Are they making 16 ohm versions now? Because they didn't used to, only 8 ohmers.

Yes , they offer both 8 & 16 ohm speakers for over two years now that i know of.
I bought a quad of 16ohm EV's in August of 2010 and they were easily available then.
The newest ones out now have the EV logo printed on the dust cover.

Just letting the membership know that John and I worked out a deal on one of these speakers. Thought we could just take this opportunity to make a small PSA.
Because of all the hassle and and one-sided policies that favored the buyer, I quit using Paypal a few years ago. I REFUSE to ever use that banking system again. That can be hard in todays world; where transactions for items over the INTERNET, that are basically "sight unseen", have become very common. John and I decided to conduct our business based on faith. When I told him the speaker was shipped, he put my Money Order in the mail.......simple as that. With UPS tracking number, and insurance of course.
This was not the first time for me. I have sold quite a few high dollar amps on TGP in the same manner. It works just fine. But you need to be realistic, and cannot practice "Blind Faith" commerce. But, if both parties generate several emails, ask intelligent questions, respond with detailed and honest answers and send some good digital pictures......this method can work very well. You get a pretty good feel for a guy after you converse a few times. It is fairly easy to weed out anybody who might be a problem.
If somebody is a REAL Con-Man, intent on ripping you off,.....then sure......you will get burned, that is life. But it is not too likely that a professional thief will be making a living from the amount of money generated from the items we sell on this forum.
In the end, it just makes life easier, happier, and healthier if we can trust one another. I can give several examples of Two Thousand Dollar amps I have sold on TGP with just a "verbal" hand shake via The Emporium.....but you guys get the gist......life is too short.
Use your head, trust your gut, hold up your end of the deal......especially if there is a problem. In the end, we need to be able to trust each other a bit.
Good Luck

I would also like to chime in and state i received the EVM12L in perfect mint condition and double boxed. A very professional packaging job by Chip and without a doubt very happy with the complete deal.
Anyone wanting to do business with Chip and are uncertain about his honesty , i can say i was very pleased with the contact process between the two of us throughout the deal and would do another deal with him again in the future.
A very honest person , thanks again Chip.
