WTB- MIM Strat body

hey,

I'm looking for an older MIM Fender Strat body(when they still used Poplar for the bodies), anything from like 96-2000 would be good.

If you have anything newer that would be ok too but i'm mainly looking for a body made of Poplar.

How do you tell for sure its poplar? I thought pre 2000 was alder?

the age does not matter...most of the time! fender used whatever they had, and it also depended alot on the colour!

BTW...why do you want poplar???

I like the way poplar sounds just a bit better then alder.

My strat is poplar so is my telecaster.
