Ignore the WTB part, this is all stuff for sale
Update 1/21/09:
Mercer box sold
Strabro 90 sold
Both rails pickups on hold pending payment
Also, I decided I want to raise some funds to buy fenderfan79's red strat. I figure if I can raise the funds in time, great. If I can't, then I'll have a couple hundred bucks I can put down into a C/D for a project guitar sometime in the future. Anyway, here's the stuff for sale:
F-spaced VHPAF/Custom hybrid (actually the vhpaf coil is a custom wind by jon moore at www.tonefordays.com) I have two of them, one is pictured here in my strat, and has A2. The other has A5. The A2 one is pictured here in my strat, I'm looking for $65 each shipped:
Also up for sale is an MXR double shot distortion, with 18v power supply included, $75 shipped OBO:
Lastly, I have a red 89 MIK squier strat that I got in a trade, completely stock. If you want a near mint 20 year old guitar rife with mojo, this is it. Frets have some wear, but there's plenty of metal if you want to get it crowned and polished. So I've had some more time to play around with it right now and give a good review: The saddles need adjustment, right now the string spacing feels off when I play fingerstyle near the bridge. The body is about as loud as my american made strat, I took the neck out to see what it was made out of, and from what I can tell, it appears to be plywood, which stunned the heck out of me. The neck is medium thin c-shape, and the poly on the neck is really slick, even for a guy with greasy hands like myself (I noticed the same thing with my '85 kramer). There aren't any protruding fret ends from what I can tell, and the pickups are great considering the fact that it's a squier. If you have any questions, just holla at me and I'll do my best to answer them expediently.
I'm looking for $200 for this one, but it's with me in prague right now, so I really only feel comfortable shipping across europe for the time being. If you're really interested in this but live in the states, then you're going to have to wait 2-3 months for the semester to be over before it'll be back home.
