I had one and I wasn't that happy with it. I tried it out with a 5 watt Black Heart and with my 18 watt clone.
I felt that I had to keep it as low as possible to get it at a low volume level and then it just sucked the tone to a large amount. I feel that they're really not made to cut the volume by a significant amount, but mainly there to tame the amp a little so you can really crank it. But it will still be rather loud, otherwise you lose a lot of the tone. Just my opinion, others may disagree. I ended up selling mine because I stopped using it.
