Not sure if I get you, you want a 7 string pickup with a ceramic in it? Or you want to trade for one? Why not just swap the original type magnet back in?

Didn't someone suggest that a regular 6-string mag is what goes in a 7-string?

I think that you can use a regular length magnet no problem. But the one I pulled out of my HB-7 bridge pickup was a little longer than standard length, as was the ceramic that I replaced it with.

Sorry, I wasn't clear - I just wanted the magnet. I bought the PU from someone with an A8 in it.

7 string mags are usually longer to be sure they hit all the pole pieces, in my experience. That said, I don't need it anymore, but thanks for the info!
