Sorry for the pictures, I don't know what's going on with my tablet today?
For sale or trade for Short Scale Fender or something similar is my beautiful 2015 L.P. Special!!! The 2015's had some good stuff and some bad? With this guitar I've done my very best to get rid of the bad leaving only the good qualities. I actually don't mind it but I know a lot of guys did, unfortunately there's nothing I can do about the L.P. 100 logo and Les's hologram, LOL!!!
The pickups are stock & so is the harness, sorta??? What I've done is pull the Quick Connect system's pots and then reworked them into a more typical & more common sense soldered harness with an upgraded Black Candy capacitor in the tone circuit. I'll try and get some additional photos up including one of the harness later this afternoon.
Other than that the G-Force has been replaced with some beautiful Nickel keystone Grover's, there's some amber speed knobs on it but I've got the originals & perhaps some golden ones as well? Last but definitely not least the Gibson Zero Fret Nut! Your actually going to get three different nuts with the purchase of this guitar!!!
The first of these being the original Brass one. The Zero Fret Nut was IMHO, a great idea right up until they decided to use Brass for the ZFN bass material & nut. Apparently nobody at Gibson thought that using a soft Brass nut under much harder Steel strings was going to be a problem down the road? And yes, that was after they decided to put stupid robot tuners on the things that move the strings much more than any human being would!!!! Basically what ended up happening was the brass would become notched & wreak havoc with your tuning stability. Dumb problem to have but a problem nonetheless! Luckily it was also easily fixed....
Eventually they did realize the design mistake and they started giving out Titanium replacements which make this system absolutely awesome & brings us to the second nut. This one is just amazing, any tuning problems went right out the window I installed it & the open notes sound fantastic!!! Last but not least I have a Graph Tech TUSQ adjustable nut which is basically just a regular TUSQ nut with the added bonus of being able to adjust it to set your guitar up perfectly!!!
$530 P.P. SHIPED P.P. gift or add 3.5% for fees!!!
I'll consider full or partial trades for a Fender Mustang, Duo Sonic, or other short scale Fender style guitars...
Thanks for looking!!!!
