WTT: My USA Jackson Warrior for your Eventide Eclipse

I don't wanna lose this guitar but the Marshall stuff isn't getting any interest. So here it is - Excellent condition 1990 USA Jackson Warrior in Coral Sea finish, hardshell case included. All the tips remain unbroken. There is some slight wear on the fine tuners of the tremolo, to be expected for a guitar this old. There is also a tiny scar on the rear upper wing filled in by the previous owner, you will struggle to find it. Pickups are stock Kent Armstrongs. 24.75" scale neck, ebony board, MOP sharkfin inlays, 24 frets.

In return, I want a fully functional Eventide Eclipse, preferably with V4 software already installed. Its either that, or I'll be asking for £1650 to buy a new Eclipse.

I already found on another forum, people were offering to trade other gear not related to what I want. Please don't annoy me.

In all honesty, if you're not as technical and articulate as Steve Vai, an Eclipse is a waste of your money. It doesn't like sloppy playing, and it will scream at you for being less-than-flawless.

And if you're not looking to have alternating harmonies (one note up, one down, multiple level shifts in one scale, etc), then you really don't need one.

And unless you can prove to yourself you need the quality of the other effects in the unit, you don't need one.

You really should look at a PitchFactor pedal if you think you really need a harmonizer. Or a GSP1101 with the big controller (with the pedals). It tracks as well as the H9000 I had, and is more tolerant of us average mortals. Plus it's got plenty of the other stuff.

With the vocoder you mentioned (its 3.30am and don't like playing keyboards anyway), I went back to my Roland VS2400. But then I found the "Vocal Transformer" (which also eats all the processing power of one VS8F2 card), and was able to drop both pitch and formant of a vocal track. A smart de-glitcher would have been helpful too. Thanks for the inspiration though.

No-one here stocks any Digitech stuff nor can I order stuff just to demo it. I prefer to buy effects which can be used on different stuff, not just guitars. But I have heard the Eclipse, and the pitchshifting and delays sound sweet.
