Hello my Bretheren and fellow toneseekers. I find myself in a wonderful and unique situation.
Ive got a Gibson SG 61're-issue (mahogany/rosewood) and Im building a Les Paul (thick mahogany with 1/4"+ spalted maple cap-gun oil finish) maple neck and rosewood fretboard.
I've got a Duncan Custom, a JBG vintage (89') sh-4 JB and a Nazgul for the bridges and a sh-1n 59', Gibson Classic 57' and a Duncan Custom Hybrid that are for the neck positions.
I know the custom/59' hybrid is meant for bridge postion but i want to be a rebel and put it in the neck. I play METAL...These guitars will be used in modern high gain amplifiers, 5150 to be specific. I do not ever play crystal clean angelic blackface tones. My clean tone is more of a AC/DC-TNT amount of gain...6 cool pickups/2 guitars.....the possibilities
☆☆☆☆☆SO, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?☆☆☆☆☆
Have a cool day, cheers!
