Re: Y'all Seen This?

If you are refering to the spoke wheel truss rod adjuster that has been around for a while and is simply another way to adjust the bow of the neck. How it is an improvement over the other methods, I don't know.

:D

Re: Y'all Seen This?

I bet there is a spot where little metal plate connections meet up from the wheel to the body, and the pickups are wired to these separate connection spots on the outside of the wheel, which can be removed to change pickups in and out of said wheel. The connections could get corroded or dirty over time, but it would keep wires from being turned and moved constantly so there would not be metal fatigue and wire breakage.

Re: Y'all Seen This?

I got a pic of that a few NAMMs back. I think it is attached to a 10k rpm fan motor, for those Leslie effects. :)

Actually, I don't remember what booth this was or if it worked. It was just sitting on a stand, being ignored.

Re: Y'all Seen This?

You could also check mag swap effects clearly, without having to use memory or recordings. As long as you have multiples of certain pickups. I always seem to have like 4 customs, multiple jb's and 59's... Magnets are the only spice I have at times, and I like things spicy (whatever the hell that's supposed to mean)!

Hmm, anything that spins is enhanced by added lights :D

That said, I just assumed it was for demoing pikcups!

Are you sure about that figure? That's 160 rotations a second. Maybe 1k rpm?

Re: Y'all Seen This?

Well, the back has a fan attached for cooling purposes. So 10k, but that is on 'high'. You can put it on low, of course.

Re: Y'all Seen This?

All Trembuckers it looks like. That would be fun to compare pickups with!

I agree, and it would also be really cool to load up with all of the same pickups but with different magnets to hear the differences in real time, or put it on high and hear them in really fast time. Either way... :)

Such as the JB or Custom pups with an A2,A5,A8,Ceramic,Double thick ceramic, or what have you...
