Yamaha Pacifica 120s

Hey. I'm not too much into this pickup stuff. But I've got a Yamaha Pacifica 120s, and instead of buying a new guitar, I think it would be nicer to insert a new pickup. But I don't know what to buy. The sound should be a bit like Epiphones Riviera (if you know the band called "Interpol". If you need more information to help me, just ask. I hope you'll help me. Thanks.

welcome to the forum!!

thats pretty tricky since youre trying to get the sound of a hollowbody guitar with mini humbuckers out of a solidbody with humbuckers.

do you play more clean or dirty?
what other gear do you use?

According to one website I visited One guitarist uses a les paul and the other an epi with p90's. Both play Fender amps. Pretty much loud and clean. If you went with something like a humbucker sized p90 you might get close. There are plenty to choose from.
