Yamaha RGXA2 - nice.

Re: Yamaha RGXA2 - nice.

How resonant was it? It's supposed to be completely hollow. Was it neck heavy?

nothing was heavy on it; the thing is light as a feather, but well balanced too. I know what you mean though, standing up with it might be a different story, but I can usually tell sitting down (at least I could with my neck-heavy lp copy I used to have).

as far as resonance, it didn't feel like a hollow-body or semi-hollow body resonance but I didn't know at the time what it was made of and so I didn't really hone in on that. Plus I was playing through a heavily distorted amp that made everything sound pretty sustainy. But, it does had active electronics, which may have helped in the sustain department.

Actually, the electronics are passive as far as I know. The battery is for the LED lights on the pickup selector switch thing.

Actually, it's soft, lightweight wood in between two outer pieces of hard wood, it's not hollow. My mistake.

oh, I thought the light was just an added bonus. man, to have a whole battery in an axe for just a light....that's kinda dumb.
