I sent an inquiry email about this guitar before I learned about my insurance crunch. They replied today. I cannot buy it, but I totally think this guitar would be a worthy purchase. It has a painted red top.

Hi there,

I am sorry about the late reply, we have been very busy here.

In regards to the guitar, we are more than happy to ship Internationally and PayPal is no worries in regards to payments.

The cost for shipping to the USA including Professional Packaging and Insurance (A Post Airmail) will be: A$145.

This is the most common and safest way to ship a guitar Internationally and it also includes a tracking number for your convenience.

If you require anymore information and pics, I can supply them as I took some real nice shots yesterday.

Regards Matt

They list this item for $1200 Australian dollars (Roughly $1140 US). They do take paypal.

Read the owners manual.

You should check out a Yamaha AES420. I picked mine up a few months ago. One of the best LP knockoffs ever. It was so nice I sold my Tele I'd used for the past 10 years.

The AES line is what got me interested in the Weddington line. My next guitar purchase will likely be an AES-420 just as you recommend. They are excellent guitars and beautiful to boot.

Re: Yamaha Weddington Classic in Muso's Music - Australia

I bought a Weddington Custom model off ebay back in January( 2008) best guitar i ever bought.., and it doesnt take a back seat to my 1982 LP custom.
It actually a better player. very comfortable , balanced guitar with a great heal joint.. dont know why all neck joints are not like this.

They make a Special model, classic and custom. anyone of them you cant go wrong>
Just seen a Black sparkle classic sell on Ebay for $ 1,000.00
