Yerasov GTA-15J

I did a forum search and Yerasov pedals were mentioned on here a couple of times in 2007 but nothing on the amps

I saw this a couple of nights ago via a musician friend who has never found the need to own a computer or smartphone, he's never had an internet presence, he also doesn't have a credit card (beard, dungarees, very fond of alcohol) so I just bought a guitar on my card on his behalf and said that once I get the bundle of bills from him I'd be happy to do same with amp. He mentioned these and I'd never heard of them so looked them up and found this demo. I own a vintage Yorkville Mark 3 tube head paired up with a vintage H/H 2X10 but it's too big for home use and has no headphone input. I own two Crate solid state amps, a GTX 30 and a GTX 65 but I'd became really bored with them and bought a hand tweaked clone of a Fender Blues Jr a few months ago with a dummy load box for headphone use and love it, it's 15watt all tube same as this but has treble/middle/bass/reverb which this doesn't, just a volume and tone and in this demo it comes across as a series piece of kit. Guitarist magazine here in the UK reviewed it and gave it a straight five stars, what do you think?

Re: Yerasov GTA-15J

GTA15J ("J" means Jensen C10Q speaker) is Yerasov's version of Fender Pro Junior. Not the 1:1 clone but very close. Do not know why every magazine's review says that it is class A amp, NO its power section operates in AB class (pushpull mode) and it is really loud (as it should to be!). Good sounding amp but may be a bit too loud for a home use.
