YJM Fury with Dimarzio Virtual Solo

I have the Fury in the neck and the VS in the middle, when I have the pickup switch set to position 4 the sound is very thin, almost like an AM radio. Is there a fix for this or am I just trying to mix and match pickups that don't play well together?

If the bridge and middle sound good in position 2, then you want to reverse the hot and ground of the neck pickup to correct the phase of position 4.

Now that you mention it, position 2 does not sound good.

Then reverse the middle to see if it improves 2/4
