This is from a guy on E Bay that bought one of my modded Vox 847s that no one on the forums wanted for some unknown reason? Grandor wanted it,but the guy on E Bay did the Buy It Now before I had a chance to sell it to Grandor..
Anyway...Here's a short and sweet e mail I got today from the guy...

"John, I tried it last night and it sounds great, now all I have to do is get good with it. I was impressed with the work you did on it, and the quality of the component's, I hate it when some people try to mod stuff and use cheap ****. This should last a very long time. It seem's to be just right as far as movement,( the treadle), it's not too tight or too loose. Although the only other wah I've ever had to compare this to is on an AX-1000G that I've got which I haven't used in quite a while. But I do know quality, and this is quality, and that goe's for your work on it too. Well, I've got to get ready for work, so if you want to write back sometime, feel free. I check my e-mail twice a day so a reply will be swift. Than"k's again for the very smooth transaction. Later, Mark".

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH! John does amazingly great work and I have loved every single thing he has done for me. I use the Vox Wah Wah John modded for me more than I do my $250 Fulltone Clyde Deluxe.

Yep. They moved us to Daylight Losing Time a few weeks ago so now it's dark about 5:00 PM. I can't figure out why they call it Daylight Saving Time...it throws away any daylight I can use! :laugh2: Lew

BTW: I would send you my wah, but

a) it's stuck inside my pod (it's the only one I own and I still can't use it as I don't have a floorboard :blackeye: )

b) I'm not a very natural wah player, it would almost be blasphemy...

Personally, I think his prices are quite reasonable for a quality mod. I know I'd charge you all a lot more.
