You'll probably hate me on this...LTD EX-102 or Jackson RR3?

i haven't tried the LTD yet and i don't know the sound...someone offered me a trade.. and (again) i am not sure if i would pursue the trade. (btw the zakk wylde deal was off since the the other guy changed his mind and kept the epiphone LP) :feedback: should i do the trade?

EX-102, based on nothing other than looks. I think it's a pretty sweet little guitar there! Looks like it could rip you apart!

i wouldn't get any LTD that isn't at least one of the 400s. Everything below looked and felt pretty crappy to me. Upgrade the RR3 with some cool pups and maybe an OFR if you must. But with the jackson you'll definitely have better woods and craftsmanship than with the LTD

Get a 200 series or higher LTD, the 100/50 series wasn't that great.

I played a VB200 and VB400 side-by-side before, they're both mahogany and set neck but the 200 felt and sounded better even though it had the H4s instead of 81s, I was quite surprised how awesome it was. The EC200QM was quite nice too but I couldn't deal with the craptastic access.
