Your 2 cents on pick up selection...

I have an Epi Les Paul, all 'stock'. Id like some better pick ups.. So far I've come down to the Pearly Gates, Alnico Pro 2, and then one I found out about today the SH-11 Custom Custom... I dont know much about the differences and my computer speakers dont do the 'tones' justice... The tone I'd like is.. GNR's knocking on heavens door.... on the 'soft' side,.... crossed with umm.. like limp bizkit on 'hot dog', to hard power chord 'punch, but without crunch' I guess.... if you know what Im talking about let me know what you think.... I like the blues thing too... -Thanks

For smooth blues and G'n'R tones, use the Alnico 2 Pro.

Get an Alnico II Pro in the neck and a Custom 5 in the bridge.
