Your Call On Washburn Hollowbodies?

I'm checking out a Washburn HB32, which is like a mahogany ES335 clone. I've only played one or two Washburn hollowbodies briefly, but I've never had a chance to plug one in. Until I get in some playing time on this thing, I was wondering if anyone had any particular insight on any of Washburns Hollowbodies, or this one in particular?

Re: Your Call On Washburn Hollowbodies?

I would only recommend the HB-35, but only because it's the best of the Washburn 335 copies. I'm really surprised at the high quality, despite the fact they're less than $600 new. I almost bought a sweet natural flame top/back HB-35. Used, they're a serious bargain at $400. I've A/B'd them with Ibanez semi-hollows in the same price range, and the Washburns were better.

i'm in definite agreement with GJ on this one...they are the best bang for your buck guitar in that category for sure...i played one the other day through a Peavey Classic 30 and it sounded awesome!!!
