My one was the Boss ME-5.
I bought it along with my first 8080 Marshall combo in 1991 and as an improvement of the whole band's sound I lent it for the rhythm guitarist who had just a clean combo of some kind and some over-crappy distortion pedal. One month later I kinda got used to the raw tone of the 8080 and realised that I don't need any FX wimpy-limpy just a cranked amp and a wah so I never looked back. Later I lent the ME-5 for different fellow musicians (the same reason: crappy gear) but I've never played a single note on a gig with the ME-5 :smack: :laugh2:
