Zakk Wylde Signature Cabinet.....

Hey,

Does anyone what speakers the Zakk Wylde Signature Cabinet has in it? And also what impendances it can be run at? Theres someone selling one in my area and im desperate for a cab and im thinking this might be worth my time.

AFAIK Zakk did not have a signature cabinet prouduced by Marshall for him, although I'm not sure. The head was limited to 600 peices worldwide, too.

I recall reading in a few interviews that Zakk uses 400-watt EV speakers... his cabs look like the 1960AX and BX ones, but of course he loads the EV's in them.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I LOVE the look of the Zakk Wylde cabinet! Basically a JCM cab with salt/pepper grillcloth, just like the head. I'm not sure, but I'd assume it's EV's, although Marshall may have just loaded it with Celestions. Either way, I'd buy it. The only problem is that it won't match the look of a regular Marshall head's grillcloth. It'd look great under a Marshall with levant front or any other head.

According to Guitar One from a few months back, Mr. Wylde uses some sort of 200 watt EV speakers... close enough B2D

I think that Zakk uses a 1960 a/b cab with 200 watt em.speakers. so if you are going for a more compressed sound any cab loaded the 200 watt em. speakers should do the trick.

Yep....Electro Voice EVM12L speakers rated at 200 watts each is what he uses now. The Zakk Wylde Signature Cabinet has something different in it. Maybe the 75 watt celestions he used to use about 10 years ago?
