Zebra or reverse zebra?

Before I order my full shred neck pup I want to make sure which one I need? I thought I knew until I looked at the faq's on this site and it confused me more . I want the cream coil to be towards the bridge pup and the black coil to be up against the neck.

Then you want reverse zebra.

I always wondered why the bridge and neck zebra designations were reversed. Wouldn't it be simpler to say that zebra was one particular way for both pickups. Then if you wanted the colors switched you could specify reverse zebra for either the neck or bridge.
