Zeppelin Houston Texas, 1977 Concert

I'm curious as to what is happening with the sound in the first :56 seconds of audio
from this “boot” of Led Zeppelin in 1977. I know it is Page's double neck, but what actually
happened to the sudden increase in volume at the opening? Was it Jimmy stepping on a volume pedal,
a faulty cable connector, or the house P.A. system suddenly kicking in?

To me, it sounds like his channel wasn’t up on the house board, so you heard his stage sound bleed into some other mic, then his channel is punched on.
