Zombielection (demo of new tune)

I was gonna just record some quick gits to figure out a solo and harmonies to a new tune called Zombielection, but I may just run with it. Whenever I try to get serious I usually mess up more.

thanks redmist. most credit goes to ez drummer, which really takes a load off of songwriting and even mixing.

Good stuff.It needs more Bass presence to me [just slightly]
As Rid says ,it picks up towards the end and that makes it all work.:friday:

thanks goldenvulture. I'll keep the bass thing in mind as I'm mixing to fit the vocals in the mix; bass is aways a tough frequency for me to work with. vocals take up most of the beginning with a verse-chorus-verse-chorus pattern.

Play round with the lower to mid range frequencies to bring up the bass presence without boosting the bottom end. Try and match it to the Pedal percussion[thwack].It should give the two more cohesion.:friday:

you know i do think metal is going to be reborn again in the deep south. there is tons of metal coming out of ga,fl,al,tenn. and it seems to be based on the older metallica and pantera styles. i love it.

Wow! Man you have the Thrash thing going on !Pure and straight!I think it's too uch crunch ,needs a tam more bottom on the guitar tone!
But the song is awesome. It reminds me Metal Church riffs somehow.
The Lead tone is amazing for my ears...Really cool soloing too!

I tried to get back to my roots. I have been listening to Blessing in Disguise and Human Factor A LOT lately, so it's funny you said that. vox version to come very soon I hope.

I wish I had more time to check out local bands. But I did watch Panhead recently, who do a pretty good cover of For Whom the Bell Tolls.
