  • A couple of new toys...I've been holding out...

Got the LP and the Mesa cab in June, the Remedy last month and the Draconis Duel Boost two weeks ago...and I'm loving 'em!
I started out with nothing...and I still have most of it left.

I'm tied between the LP and the Remedy -- that amp rocks!

Sweet axe man. Dude it's like September. How you going hold out on us like that? Now how about some reviews?

Well, the LP is a Traditional Plus. Came with 57 Classics which are pretty sweet, but I like Ants better, so I swapped them out. Love this guitar!!

I'd been on the fence for a year on the Dr. Z Remedy. Did a lot of research, couple of demo's, and finally decided to order one. Glad I did! Beautiful, Plexi overdrive, with a HUGE bottom end. The hi and lo inputs are jumpered internally, so there's a lot of tonal variation to be had just by playing with the two volume controls. I also have a Dr. Z Route 66 which I love. If I had to choose between these two amps...I don't think I could. Really sweet amp!

The Draconis is a dual boost pedal. Essentially, it's 2 Flying Dragon boosts coupled in one pedal, each with it's own footswitch and level contol. Probably the most transparent boost I've ever used, more so even than the Xotic AC booster. There's also a built in effects loop on the pedal so you can run some of your pedals without hitting them with a boosted signal. I've searched high and low for a pedal like this, and now that I've found it, it's staying on my board -- permanently!

            Most assuredly, Dr. Z rocks!

I dig the top on that LP. Very nice. Congrats!
If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane.
