so im in the market for some new pedals. my eye was on some moogerfoogers, but the price, and the issues people are having with the preamps are making me think twice.
ive been looking at alternatives, mainly at ehx. they have a few different envelope filters, all similarly priced, and i just cant narrow it down.
they also have a cool pedal called the 'flanger-hoax' or something like that, that im looking at.
basically, my main thing with these pedals is that i want tweak-ability. the phase-90 might sound nice, but with one knob, that just doesnt cut it. im looking for knobs galore. i also, of course, want them to sound good (id like my guitar's tone to shine through at least somewhat).
any thoguhts? ideas for other versatile pedals i might wanna look at?
