My DSL100 likes an Electro Harmonix in V1 and Tungsol's in V2-4. the EH keeps the midrange singing properly for the gain I like and the Tungsol's in the other slots give it depth and shimmer.
I tried all Tungsols but in V1 it took away a bit too much midrange and left me with too much high end.Comment

I guess that's wht TS's work well in the 6505+. It's quite a mid heavy amp. The EH's are nice too. Good info for our other guitar dood, he has a DSL. Thanks.Comment
