Makes you wonder if Poland could rejoin now that there's a free spot...?
His work in The System has Failed is absolutely marvelous. Incredible solos full of finesse, precise phrasing and a very cool fusion-like tone.

Yup, he's active on eBay. I sold him a small part a few weeks ago. Saw his name and thought "is that the guy from Megadeth..." and checked his website, same E-Mail address. I wrote "Stay metal" on the packaging.

Sold something to Ty Tabor sometime in the last year as well.

Now that just blows my mind, man. I like Chris Poland but Ty Tabor is one of my heroes alongside Marty Friedman and Ritchie Blackmore.
Did you meet him or anything?

Nope, just mailed the part to his studio.

No need to make things up.

Chris Poland has never been underrated, he's just not recognized outside of the field he works in. Can't imagine John Mayer citing him as an influence alongside Albert and Freddie, y'know?

I had a 2-song EP he (Poland, not Mayer) did with his brother some years ago called Damn The Machine. A cover of 'I'd Love To Change The World' and a song called Cat Food (the chorus of which I sing aloud when I have to buy cat food - again )

Thats really cool, Imagine selling some gear and George Lynch shows up at your door or Steve Vai. What if Crazy Eddie Van Halen shows up and buys all your gear as he's a tone monster chaser and probably buys all kinds of stuff.

                    Dude thats so cool man.
