Your negation is too late to stop the opening of my third eye. I now walk the Path of George, and my musical soul is inviolate.

Some day, you too will hear the mystical Tone which is an echo of all creation, and we will welcome you with open arms.

I'm not sure what to make of this thread but I do love George L's cables!

Long time user and they've never let me down...put them together JUST like the instructions say and you'll be fine!
If you just read a post by The Guy Who Invented Fire please understand that opinions change, mind sets change and as players our ears mature...not to mention our needs grow and change. With that in mind, today I may or may not agree with the post you just read!

I like my George L's, but I'm thinking of changing to Switchcraft (soldered) plugs.

This thread only makes marginal more sense knowing you're talking about cables, not George Lynch ...

You mean were not talking about George Lynch?

Heh, hadn't thought about that. I'm talking about cables here. Specifically, what a difference a good set can make -- I feel like I can actually hear the pickups and wood now. I was always on a quest for top end -- not treble, but bite, warm pick attack -- and a more open sound. Never thought cables could make so much difference.

Kinda ironic that what my amp and guitar needed may not have been new tubes or a new pickup, but just a cleaner signal path.

Guess it's one thing to read about it a million times, and another to actually experience it.

Well, there is the opposite, also. Sometimes a "less perfect" cable can add just the right amount of colouration you are looking for; eg, some players (myself included) like to have a curly cord somewhere in their rig (my actual pedal board is wired with George L's also, however).

I've always liked cables Bill Lawrence sold. I found that a lot of the mushy tone I was getting from my neck hum equipped guitars was actually from the cables I was using.

George was one of my earliest influences - he still influences me today! I pretty much like All of what George has done and that includes 'Smoke This'.
